Meeting fees, which include a box lunch, are $20 for members, $30 for non-members and $10 for students. You can register for the event at https://thecmar17.eventbrite.com. If you plan to attend the March meeting, you must register by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7th, so your name can be placed on the attendance list for the Fed’s security officers and so we know how many lunches to order. Space for this meeting is limited, so please reply as soon as possible to ensure that you have a reservation. Anyone who has not pre-registered and pre-paid will not be admitted to the event. If you have dietary restrictions, please e-mail them to thec@houston.org after you register online.

You need not be a member of The Houston Economics Club to attend. Meetings are open to all who use economics in their work, study, teaching or have an interest in trends driving our economy. However, members do pay reduced meeting fees, receive e-mail meeting notices before nonmembers ensuring that they have a better chance of registering before an event is sold out, and have exclusive access to members-only social and networking events.

To learn more, check out our website, at www.thehoustoneconomicsclub.org. You’ll find presentations from past meetings, dates of future meetings, useful economic data, and information about becoming a THEC member.
